Halloween Show at Skelletones

Saturday, Brett and I headed out to Holland to Jeff and Tiffaney's house. We helped them move out of their house. Tiffaney asked if I could feed Ava and it was amazing. It was my first time feeding a baby and I had such a fun time. She was so cute. She ate turkey and mustard baby food - and it was so adorable. Brett and I got to play with her for a little bit - and it was so much fun since we never get to see her. Now we'll hardly ever see her now that they are moving to Montana. So it was a great goodbye parting. We said goodbye to Jeff and Tiffaney. It's going to be strange, hardly ever seeing them. Ava is going to grow so much and we're going to miss out.

But after that, we left and bought Brett a banana costume . We headed out to Grand Rapids to meet up with the guys at Nick's house. We went back to Nick's so the guys could run through practice with Tim, their new bass player. So they did that, we loaded them up and headed over to Skelletones for the Halloween show. I dressed up as a cat (like I did last year). It was a fun show. I got to chat with the guys from Kaline a little bit. I hung out with Kara all night. Well after the show, we all ate at Grand Coney and Brett and I were so tired and headed home.

Ava's 1st Birthday Party

Saturday, Brett and I drove out to Holland for Ava's 1st birthday party! There were a bunch of people there we didn't know, but we had fun. I cannot believe it's been a year since Ava was born, it's crazy! She's growing up so fast; she's such a cutie. We left for a while to walk around the Holland mall and around downtown. We went back later when everyone left and hung out.

Picking Pumpkins

Lately, things have not been going to plan. Brett's gum area has been really hurting him a lot lately, so he went to the dentist and his whole gum was swollen, and the dentist had to take a scappol and jab his gum, so that all of the puss could drain out of this gum. Brett said it was the worst pain he has ever experienced. I feel so terrible for him. Our bills are piling up, the Wesley house is the worst place on the planet to ever live and I just miss Grand Rapids and Kendall and everything just sucks.

On a better note, we went to pick out pumpkins at Green Acres. We can't leave them outside because our neighborhood is so rough around the edges and we don't want them smashed. We're going to wait to carve them and put them out for Halloween.

Tall Ships at Skelletones

So things haven't been the worst lately. I can't really complain. I'm getting used to our house and am actually starting to think it's kind of cozy. Even our kitchen. I'm doing great in my design drawing class. Last week, my prof said that my vessel was the best work I've done so far. We are not so cramped to pay bills since I got both of our licenses paid for and his birthday present paid off. This past weekend was his birthday which was kind of fun and then the show was on Saturday - which was fun to be around friends.
