Jen's Bridal Shower

Jen's bridal shower was so much fun. It was at her aunt's amazing house (where Jen has been living) It was so awesome to see her open all of her gifts, and eat delicious catered foods that were just amazing. Afterwards, the girls got some really cute pictures, and we went outside to take turns riding Ryan's new scooter. It was my first time riding a scooter and I was so nervous going down their hill! I went like 2 miles per hour; haha!

Tall Ships' Practice

Monday, I went to Tall Ships' practice at their new practice space. It's at some abandoned warehouse by the 28th Street Mega Mall. Have to admit it's pretty awesome.

Whitecaps with Curtis Ganderson

Friday night, Brett and I drove out to Grand Rapids to meet up with Nick and Peter to see the Whitecaps! Curtis Granderson was playing with them because he is recovering from an injury, so that was pretty awesome!

Spring Arrives

Life has been a little bit crazy lately. I was planning on leaving Beacon Recycling when I started taking summer classes, but they called me up recently and offered me a very large raise that I couldn't refuse. So now I'm kind of stuck wondering if I should continue at this job or what. I think the best decision for me is to just suck it up, ask to go down part-time and stick with my original plans to go back to school on a full-time basis and move back to Grand Rapids. It's the only way I'll ever finally finish school, and eventually I'll be making more than what I just got in a raise from Beacon Recycling?

Other than making life-altering decisions, we're doing pretty great. Spring is finally here. The weather has been gorgeous these past few days. Brett and I were able to lay in the yard, play catch, and play at the playground (took a bunch of pictures) We tried to play tennis, but he kept hitting it way over the fence and so I gave up on him and his tennis playing.
