22nd Birthday

So I had my 22nd birthday. Brett took me to Olive Garden, and surprised me with all of my friends. Jen, Sarah, Laura and Josh, Peter, Jeremy and Kait. It was such a great time. We went to Dancing in the Streets in Downtown GH. It was so much fun. I even got to see Anne for a little bit too. We went down to the lake to swim for a few minutes and walked a million miles back. Thanks so much to everybody who came. I love all of you.

Husband and Wife

What a husband I have.

We're almost to the year mark.
Less than a month now.

And I'm more in love than ever.

Whitecaps with Maggs

The Whitecaps game sold out last night because Magglio Ordonez played. Of course, we went to see him. We had lawn seats and decided to take more pictures of us than the game. But the Whitecaps won and Maggs hit a few great hits.

Not sure if the helmet of Dippin Dots was worth the $5.00 we paid. I have a whole streamline of photos I need to somehow make into an animated gif.

After the game, we waited around for Magglio to come out. He signed a few autographs at the top, but then took off. People were nuts. I don't blame him for taking off. But it was cool to see him so close up.

Go Whitecaps!
(or more or less, TIGERS!)

Mount Pleasant

Mount Pleasant was much more of a hit than last time Tall Ships played there. Punch It, Rescuer, Tiger, Tall Ships & Brothers played. I got to ride in the back of the Yukon with Tall Ships + Kait. It was a joyous experience.

Tiger

Tall Ships
Brothers
After retarded R. Kelly tunes, dimming lights, jumper cables and an hour of waiting around,we made it back to Grand Rapids. I met a few cool kids, like Tony from Rescuer and they are driving out to Grand Rapids next weekend for Skelletones. See all of you there for Tall Ships, Brighter Cities, Set Sail, Fight this War & Rescuer.

Also, have I mentioned I'm in love with the vocalist for Tall Ships?

New Start

I'm starting a new journal to record my life. I deleted my old journal a couple of years ago, entry by entry, so that I couldn't restore it ever again. The last two years of my life have been the best years of my life. So now I feel that it's time I can record my life again and look back on it in five years and be happy with my past.

"So here we go again."

Brett and I just moved back to Grand Rapids, Michigan. The time I've spent here has been some of the best times of my life. I'm ecstatic to be back "home". I'm currently back at Kendall College of Art & Design full-time. (Thank GOD!) I'm still working part-time at Beacon Recycling. And I'm back living in downtown Grand Rapids in Heritage Hill. I cannot complain, whatsoever.

Here's to new adventures.

Random Carnival

Saturday, Brett and I ran errands. Hobby Lobby, Bed, Bath and Beyond & Meijer. We spend way too much money. We headed home to drop off groceries and I started watching "Desperate Housewives" again. I really need to finish season 3 and then start season 4 DVDs and finish them before season 5 comes out this upcoming year. Grrr. I'm so behind! After that, we headed out to the mall because we were bored and we didn't do much there. Then, we went to the Biggby parking lot to get internet. After finding no movies or anything playing, we drove around downtown Grand Rapids and spotted a carnival. We called up Peter and he met us at our apartment. We all walked down to the carnival, which was really lame and rode some rides. The Flying Trapeze and the tilt-a-whirl. Highly not worth my money. Brett and I were wondering why Saturday was so entirely boring, but every weekend in June, Tall Ships had a show.. so we had something to do. We all walked back and ate at TGI Friday's and went to Peter's to shave Brett's head. He's adorable... Annie came over later and we just watched TV.
