Dill, the Monarch caterpillar

Brett and I were seriously so excited when Dill got into his J shape! We woke up Sunday morning and he was just hanging there, ready to chrysalis and turn into a monarch butterfly! He is amazing. Seriously. How amazing is that you capture a caterpillar, he eats milkweed and eats and eats, and then he crawls to the top of his home, attaches his butt to the top of it and just hangs there until he turns into a cocoon! It'll be a about 2 weeks for him to turn into a butterfly. We're gonna be proud parents when he flies away. Even Brett's mom is anxiously awaiting the arrival of her grand-butterfly, Dill. Hehehe <3

(dill is "j"ing!)
