I'm so proud right now to be one of the one hundred bloggers in the Pink Pony campaign. They are celebrating their 10th anniversary of the Polo Ralph Lauren's Pink Pony fund which is a year round effort to promote awareness and to raise funds in the fight against cancer. The mission of Pink Pony is to address the needs of the medically under served by bringing quality cancer care, access to cancer care and early detection for those who need it most. Today, you'll be seeing many of your favorite bloggers help promote the campaign by wearing Pink Pony's version of the pink ribbon. Want to know how you can help? From October 1st through the 21st, Charity Buzz will be hosting their first Pink Pony online auction with 100% of the proceeds going straight to the Pink Pony fund. You can also text PINKPONY to 501501 to automatically donate $10. If you can't afford to help out right now, that's fine too - use your voice! I've been seeing this polo on other blogs all morning, and I have to say it's refreshing to see someone wear it with jeans. Everyone else has worn it with a skirt, which is great, but I think it looks great with a simple pair of jeans and flats, like you're wearing here.
Ok fine, maybe they're not flats, but you know what I meant..
Great campaign! I did the weekend to end breast cancer and I was soo completely moved by all the people and stories- I was crying and cheering for a whole weekend straight!

that's amazing! i'm the co-president of a club at my high school that raises awareness and fundraises money for cancer research. for the month of october, we are hosting a pink week as a fun way to raise money and awareness. i'm so glad the everyone is getting involved in their own way! (:
