So recently I was contacted by a Canadian-based designer, Eve Gravel, to do a collaboration to style up one of their items and to host as a giveaway for one of you lucky girls! They are looking to expand over to the United States - so what's better than contacting five personal style bloggers here? Their fall/winter lookbook is just gorgeous. When they sent over the link for it - I honesty swooned! She's been in the business for 16 seasons, so the quality, styling and look of all of her pieces are just top notch!
She asked each of the bloggers chosen to pick out some of their favorites pieces so we could style up something! I didn't get my favorite piece - which was the Chanel jacket, but this "we get on" jacket was really funky and brought me out of my normal element! It was fun to play up. I keep telling myself I want to incorporate more edgy pieces into my wardrobe and this was a great chance to play around with something new without fully committing! I like being taken out of my comfort zone sometimes with style.
The awesome thing about Eve Gravel this week is that five bloggers (myself included) are hosting giveaways on their blog including a piece from their lookbook! Love this jacket, you do edgy just as well as you too sweet!
I looked through her site, but to be honest it's not a very shopping riendly site. The pictures are small and dark, and don't feature the specific piece they are selling. I would have to click each item and enlarge the picture to really see the detail and distinguish one piece from another, which I don't have the time to do so. Maybe you can pass the feedback over to her.

Literally the first thing I thought when I saw these pictures was "oh, yay! Teika is fulfilling her dream of being more edgy!". I think the outfit risk extended nicely to the photos; the setting is perfect and I love the shot behind the fence! Fabulous idea. The detailing on the jacket is utterly funky, and I adore the way you paired it with a lacy black dress and killer heels!
