This isn't exactly what I had in mind for this dress, but it all comes out in the wash - right? I wanted to go to a pumpkin patch, but Brett and I already bought pumpkins.. and I really wanted to wear this dress today! Teehee. So instead, I went to this very very secret random park on the way to the city. And I pulled into this back lot.. and started taking some pictures (no Brett today, boo!) and I was so freaked for some reason! I heard some rustling in the bushes and sprinted back to my car. Haha! Halloween must be coming.. oooooh!
So, I'm sure a lot of you have heard if you follow my twitter, but I've been interviewing with this company for a while now. I had my.. fourth interview today and I wasn't at all expecting it, but after the interview, they offered me a full time position as a graphic designer!! I think she could tell I wanted to scream.. because I was like.. insanely excited. Hahaha! I sprinted back to my car, in these heels, with my phone glued to my ear telling Brett, "I got the job, I got the job!!!!" Haha! I'm speechless. I mean, honestly. And I get to stay in Michigan - that's such a dream come true! Thanks to everyone for the congrats and everything! It means so much! I'll keep you updated on how it's all going! I know this is so corny, but I went from being this awful high school student with a bad attitude to graduating from college with the excellence award and landing an amazing career. Dreams do come true, guys!
I went and bought a few more autumn-inspired items tonight - F21 has such a great selection right now. I bought an orange silky-like top and cardigan, a yellow hat and a large chunky brown belt. So cute. Starting tomorrow, I have a week full of halloween-inspired posts - spooky stories, local urban legends and more! I'm so excited. I've been planning this for a while. I've been flipping through our Weird Michigan book trying to come up with the perfect posts! I can't wait! Enjoy your weekend, everyone! I know I will!
