Last weekend, Brett and I headed over for a quick trip to the giant tire swing before meeting up with a friend for dinner. I've always loved this fun landmark growing up. It's just one of those spots you have to visit, especially if it's a first date. (Yes, Brett and I are guilty of this cliche!) It's just in a fun spot, right by Calder Plaza, and it's so unique! If you're ever in the Grand Rapids area, you really need to go!
A few weeks ago, I went to Urban Outfitters and found this amazing cardigan. If I know I'm going to be cold somewhere, I will wear this. Even if I've worn it 5 times already in the same week. I just love it. It's like wearing a blanket. And you can wrap up in it, belt it, leave it open, wear it as a dress (seriously) and pair it with jeans, leggings, or a dress! I'm in love. This is my favorite comfy outfit lately. I paid full-price for it and a day later (seriously.. a day later) it was on sale for $50 and is still on sale! Oh well, I'd repay what I paid for it again. It's my favorite.

I have that exact same sweater in the beige/grey! I absolutely love it, and it's warmer than any other sweater ever! I've already snagged it a few times, so be extra careful with this knit :o)
That is a super sweet cardi; you know if you still have the receipt most stores will rebate the difference in price if an item goes on sale within a couple weeks of your purchasing it? It's worth a shot!

You might be able to get a price adjustment on the sweater if you still have the receipt! A lot of places will do a price adjustment if the item goes on sale within 14 days of your purchase.
But either way, it's super cute and looks soooooo cozy!

That is such a lovely sweater!!! Great find. If the sweater just went on sale, can you take the receipt back and get a refund?? I've done that at a few places before. Most places honour a refund around 15 - 30 days between a purchase and a sale price.

Well, don't let the sales bring you down! It has happened to me so often, mostly with Topshop items. There's no Topshop here in Germany so I have to order everything online...and most of them are on sale by the time I get them! That's life! And I usually don't mind, especially if it's something I really love!

Ooo, I just bought this sweater in the Ivory/Grey colour a few weeks ago! Great minds think alike ;) It is AMAZING. Those were my thoughts exactly - it's just like a blanket, and looks awesome with or without a belt! I didn't get it for the sale price either, but I don't care too much... I cannot wait to wear it when it cools down here! Ok, cardigan rant over :)

I love the tire swing. When I was little, my best friend had a tire swing and we would swing on that thing for hoursss. I can't imagine how much fun we would have had with a giant one!
