White road

Yay! Jacket weather! I'm too excited! I'm especially excited because I worked with Element to style up this particular coat. I went for a coat that would stand on it's own - stylewise - because most of the time I'm wearing my coats over dresses with some simple tights. Last winter, I kept bundling up in this huge green parka and this year I wanted something a bit more stylish!

It's really lightweight so I can easily wear on cooler autumn days, but I'm excited to pair sweaters and mittens with it when the snow hits (not that I'm looking forward to that anytime soon!) My favorite features on this coat are the big pockets for my hands, the gray and black combination and the length. I love a longer length coat, so my cardigans don't sneak out!

Be sure to head over to Element to check out their latest look book! I love their autumn stylings... especially the mix of plaids and army greens! I'll be back tomorrow with a really fun set of photos from last weekend when I got to interview an amazing lady. If you follow me on Twitter, you probably know who! ;)

Awesome winter coat!! :) think I need a better one for next year. I like the pockets and the hood!! I hate jackets without hoods, that will definitely be on my list for next winter's coat

cannot wait to wear jackets! love this one, esp. with your tights and shoes!

I love this coat! I don't think we can wear it here though...oh tropical countries, they are awesome but they keep me away from lush coats like this one! :D

You're right about just letting it stand on it's own, even with it's dark color it jumps out at you and waves :D. Can't wait to see what you wear with them on other posts!

I have a coat just like this! It is seriously the best coat I've had, I got so much wear out of it this past winter.

Ashley, Lions Lace Lattes said...

I looove this coat so much!!! The toggles are so cute. I have a red one that is a similar style but it doesn't have a hood. My weakness is fall/winter jackets. I have way too many!

I absolutely love Element outerwear! When I started working at a board shop five years ago, I had no clue they would have anything that I'd ever like, but I'm always coming back for more. They're sweaters are incredible! And you look darling, as always :)

I love the coat. I just bought a short duffle coat and wish I had bought a longer version. If they had it in navy blue it'd be perfect.

Ooh what a lovely jacket! I haven't even started thinking about jackets yet :/ though we are in the middle of a heatwave so I guess I have a good excuse hehe! I definately think I'm going to get a longer coat this year too, as last year I had a smaller one and with dresses and cardigans it was just really irritating! :)

I've been looking for the seminal duffle coat for a while now - it has to have a hood and big cosy pockets - this one is a contender!

I love jackets! It's unfortunate that there is really only a few week period that a lightweight jacket works before moving on to a heavier, warmer style.

This one is so classic!

You did a great job on styling that one! You have a great potential to become a stylist! :) I'd defeinitwly wear this coat!

Sweet coat. I love these light coats and jackets, but the season to wear them is so short here that it's almost not worth my having any. Too often I need something that can withstand snrain (snow+rain simultaneously) and these pretty things don't cut it :(

This coat looks great on you though, love the toggle-ties.

Diana said...

You wear and sell that coat very well! You have me loving it- but it says it's not available online :(

What a great coat!! I remember the green parka from some pictures and even though it looked sooo warm/cozy, I'm sure it'll be fun to have another more fun option!

What a pretty coat! I have a couple coats I like, but I'm really hoping to be able to get a new one this autumn/winter - especially since I'll be visiting some friends in Laramie Wyoming (aka, the winter wasteland!) in March. A warm coat will be vital for survival, and a stylish one would be preferable. ;D

Thanks for sharing your beautiful coat!
