I had the amazing opportunity while I was in NYC to preview the By Misha S/S 2013 presentation. It was held at the Alvin Ailey dance studios. I absolutely loved the whimsical garden tea party theme. The twelve-piece collection was full of flowing chiffon, satin and brocade in shades of honeysuckle, mint, marmalade and crème brûlée. Flowers filled the studio, paper lanterns hung from the ceiling and the guests had their choice of wine or tea cocktails from mini mason jars with striped pastel straws. Plus, the picnic-themed cupcakes were adorable. I really enjoyed the collection + thank you to Misha Vaidya for the opportunity to see it up close and personal!

Wow #5 is a gorgeous portrait!
I'm curious since you said you brought Eric along to the event- how was that? I'm always dragging my husband to fashion events so he can take pictures for me. He's usually the only dude there and it's sometimes awkward. Did Eric enjoy going? What did he wear?

Aw yup, spotted you guys!! I love that you brought Eric. I had a blast with Martin in Austin, it was so fun to be able to share it with him and he loved meeting everyone + getting a glimpse into blog land. ;)

OMG! I should have known that was YOU! I don't want to sound like a creep...BUT If I'm not mistaken you were sitting outside the presentation for a while. I was sitting at the table wondering whether or not it was you. I was too shy to ask. I even pop up in your last picture! Oh well...
Anyway, Misha was a great collection! I really like how the lookbook has a flower name for each look. The view alone was breath taking!
