Happy three year blogiversary to me! I honestly can't believe I've been blogging for so long. When I think back to the beginning, it feels like forever ago! I started in September 2009 after losing 35 pounds. I remember feeling insanely inspired to finally start dressing the way I wanted to and feeling comfortable doing so. I picked up the September issues from that year (that I kept and still have) and starting trying new things I saw (like tights under jean shorts? so cool that year!). But then, I discovered fashion blogging. I remember reading Delightfully Tacky, The Clothes Horse, Keiko Lynn and Calivintage and thinking that… wow, these girls are amazing and real. So, I started my own blog and it's been the craziest adventure ever since. This blog has seen me through college, graduation, three fashion weeks, new and old friendships, a move from the beach to the city, my band, sadly my marriage ending, too many lighthouses, trips, adventures, and now even a new relationship starting. All I know is that I can't wait to continue blogging, no matter what happens in my life. My biggest goal going into my fourth year (eep!) is to have more fun with it. Sometimes I stress myself out over deadlines and not posting enough, what people think, and "what if this outfit doesn't look good on the blog?". But it's like… who cares? I started this blog because I was inspired and I've kept blogging because it's been fun, I've met the most amazing people and have had the most amazing opportunities. I'm insanely grateful for what this blog has given me in life + I can't wait to see what happens in the future for it. Thank you for coming back (some of you for the past three years, even). It means the world to have your support. ♥
