Whoa, I wasn't expecting the semi-hiatus on the blog here! It has been the busiest week ever, plus we've had nonstop rain. I love autumn weather, but I'm just not a fan of cold rain. Don't get me wrong, I love an amazing spring/summer thunderstorm. But when you're seeing all of the beautiful leaves fly off the trees before you get a chance to photograph them? Ugh, depressing. But, I got outside this weekend a little bit to take pictures. We had one crummy day and one nice day (finally!) but I'm just going to have to suck it up and stand out in the rain if this keeps up!
So if you guys didn't know already from Twitter or Instagram, I flew out to Houston on Tuesday night for a photoshoot on Wednesday with Francesca's Collections. It was such a whirlwind trip, but I had a blast. I got to grab dinner and drinks with Brian and Julianne from Francesca's - they were amazing. The next day, we had a morning shoot, I ate the yummiest BBQ, enjoyed the 85-degree weather and had a tour of the Francesca's Collections headquarters. It was so much fun to see behind-the-scenes of a company like that! I'll be sure to share pictures as soon as I have them. Other than that, I had Circle Maybe practice this week (we have a show coming up!) and caught up on some much needed sleep.
Any fun plans for upcoming Halloween weekend? This week is going to be pretty busy for me again, but we're supposed to have our Indian Summer at the end of this week - so I'm thrilled! 67-71 degrees and sunshine? Yes, please! I still need to plan out a costume before the weekend. There is a super fun costume dance party that I'm really looking forward to. And I have a fun little day-trip planned for next Saturday. I'll be around tons this week on the blog though - need to play catch up from this last week! Chat soon! xo
