I was so excited to be invited to attend the Samantha Pleet Showroom Opening Party! I absolutely loved her brand new space, filled with her 2013 A/W collection, photos of the line, inspiration, fabric swatches, vintage furniture and of course, amazing treats. Eric and I sipped on a lemonade gin and got to chat with Samantha herself, her husband and partner, Patrick, and her parents! It was amazing to be there and see the space in person, plus get an early peek at her 2013 A/W collection. I especially loved all of the shoes and boots she designed in collaboration with Wolverine 1000 Mile, especially since they are my neighbors in Rockford, Michigan. So fun! Thanks Samantha for the opportunity to attend!

Oh my, I am swooning over the shoes in the first photo. I would wear every pair of those-especially the cap toe wedge loafer (not exactly sure?) things. Glorious.
