Happy Saturday! It's rare I post on the weekends, but I set a goal for posting at least 2x a week... so if I don't blog today and tomorrow, I won't hit that goal. And 2x a week is too easy to just say "nah", so here I am. Weekend blogging! I'm styling up another outfit in collab with local boutique, jb and me. This outfit is pretty simple, but I love the funky bell sleeves that really add to this dress! Plus, these boots are QUALITY! This was one of the most humid days (literally curled my hair 30 minutes before this) so this dress was just a tad hot, but come autumn, it'd be perfect!
Happy Sunday! I'm popping in with a quick outfit post in collab with local boutique, jb and me. I have two outfit posts coming at you... this is the first one! Everyone is getting excited for autumn around here... boots and plaids are coming out in full force! I'm still trying to hang onto these last days of summer, especially since August is my favorite summer month. But! It's hard not to get some autumn frenzy this time of year, especially as the air gets a little cooler and you can start to bust out some of your new purchases. This outfit is a bit unique for me, but still me at the same time! I love the twist to the jeans, the worn-in boots, and the off-the-shoulder plaid with a lace bandeau styled underneath!

Happy Tuesday! We're almost halfway through the week! Let's back up to the weekend though, where we had ZERO plans. Such a rarity! It was great to be able to decide what we wanted to do for a change! We ended up grabbing dinner at a mini food truck rally and having a bon fire at a friend's house on Friday. Saturday, I had a morning workout session, and we decided to do a little shopping, go out to dinner, and see a movie. I love those simple days so much! Sunday was another morning workout session, brunch, grocery shopping, and getting caught up on some things around the apartment. I feel like I'm in a good, healthy routine right now, which is so strange for summer, because usually summer is a complete whirlwind. So all good things over here!

Hi friends! I’m excited to be teaming up with Lee & Birch for the next couple of weeks to promote their Runway off Wealthy show coming up on September 14. It’s going to be at the gardens of Jeffery Roberts Design again this year, which is such a beautiful setting! They are going to have music by DJ Adrian Butler, drinks and bites from Sandy Point Beach House, ZoKo822 and MeXo, and a chance to win all sorts of raffle prizes and more! Plus, the fashion is always inspiring and gets me in the mood for fall! Be sure to head over to their Facebook page for more information, and to buy tickets! All event proceeds are donated to Kids’ Food Basket, so this is for a great cause.
As promised, here is my full "little" travel guide to Beaver Island! We're definitely not pros of the island, but just thought I'd share where we stayed, what we ate, and what we did on the island. To be honest, this wasn't my favorite Michigan excursion we've been on. There wasn't a whole lot to do on the island... which is great if you're looking to relax and take it easy! Typically we like to have fun things to do and see when we travel (especially around Michigan), so thankfully the lighthouses took up a bit of our time. But if we didn't have the lighthouses to see, I'm not sure what else we would have done other than ride bikes, or visit the little beach, or eat/drink. But! We still enjoyed our weekend, and here are the highlights of our trip!

Happy Friday! So I know you guys are being spammed by the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (I always cringe every year at how crazy it gets) but you have to admit... brand new items, at sale prices, that return back to normal prices after the sale... it gets tempting to look! And if you can find something you'd buy without it being on sale, it definitely makes it worthwhile to nab those sale prices! I'm not going to share a million products, and link to them on all of my social profiles (don't worry), but I thought I'd share the three things I actually bought from the sale below. They ended up being all tops, but for some reason, I'm just having a hard time finding dresses I love lately!
Madewell Plaid Off The Shoulder Top
For some reason, this just looks like a really cute top to wear for picking pumpkins this autumn... not sure why. This is how my brain thinks. I already envision wearing this with my Madewell High Rise Skinny Jeans and some cute ankle boots!
Hinge Ruffle Blouse in Purple Plum
I'm kind of obsessed with plum for autumn, and I don't own a single plum piece in my wardrobe! So I had to snatch this top up. Plus, the sleeve detail is adorable and can easily be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
Electric City Pullover Sweater in Blue
I just booked an autumn color trip to Tahquamenon Falls in October... and I can't wait to wear this sweater when we rent a canoe and row out to explore the lower falls! Plus, this will be a great piece all autumn/winter long. Super cozy.
