Hey guys! I'm feeling super behind on posts right now. I know I say that all the time, but honestly. These photos were from almost a month ago now. Ah! But yeah, Eric and I headed over to Fruitport to check out their super trashy carnival in May. I love a carnival though. Bad for you food, spinning rides, fireworks, my kinda fun. Still sticking with matching my outfits to locations, I thought I'd go casual with primary/bright colors usually used at carnivals. Yeeeaaah... I'm a nerd. ;)
These polka dotted jeans are one of my favorite purchases as of late. They were on super clearance at Target, in my exact size. Meant to be! I can never exactly find jeans that fit perfect at my ankle (thanks to my chubby lil' belly and being short) but I like these cuffed. The dots are just enough to look unique, but not overly insane that make your eyes bug out of your head. Some polka dots just do that sometimes, you know? Especially on pants.
Life has been pretty insane lately. We found an apartment though! It's pretty much in our same neighborhood, in an even better location honestly. Just a hop and a skip away from a bakery, the best hot dog joint and our favorite place ever, The Winchester. No complaints here. Plus, it has an adorable front porch swing that I imagine I'll spend my life on. It's a tad smaller than our current place but it's been completely kept up to date (unlike our current place) and it's totally renovated. I love it and I know I'll feel at home there. I'm kind of looking forward to a "fresh start". I really need it right now.
I still have another post to catch up on from last weekend from the B93 birthday bash, plus my posts in Cleveland. I have a feeling the next few weeks are going to absolutely fly with having to pack up this entire apartment and move. Plus, the fourth of July is right around the corner. That is legit summertime. It has been so chilly here in Michigan, honestly just the weirdest weather. Eh, oh well. Once we move and I'm settled, it can just be full on heat wave and I'll live in my bathing suit. I'm okay with that.
