Hi guys! How is your October so far? Mine is pretty darn awesome. I've been in such a great mood! I finished my 21 day Slimdown Challenge, which was definitely a challenge these last few weeks. Learning how to eat clean and work out 5x a week maybe wasn't the easiest thing to do right before the wedding, but I'm really glad I did it! I lost 5 pounds, and 2 inches off my waist. Not bad! But honestly the bigger benefits were having a ton more energy and feeling more confident. All in all, I'm glad I did the challenge, but I think after the honeymoon, I'll go back to my normal routine and try to eat more balanced using some of the things I learned during the challenge.
This past weekend, we ran out to the lakeshore to pick out pumpkins and flowers for our wedding! I absolutely loved being at Green Acres. It finally just set in that autumn is here! Our wedding is here! It's crazy. We've been planning for so long, and thinking about every detail for so long, that it just felt so far away. I'm so excited though. It's been such a great week. I'm really really glad I front-loaded a lot of the work, because I honestly am feeling stress-free right now. Eric and I even went to get massages tonight!
Going along with my super casual outfits, I just decided to wear a super comfy oversized sweater, sweater leggings and my favorite Minnetonka booties to run errands! I've been mostly wearing jeans and plaids and flats lately. I really need to plan some cute outfits for when we go up north though! We're about to go into our Indian summer though (so excited!) so it's going to warm up a bit this weekend. This is my favorite time of year, and favorite time to dress. Life is good, you guys!
Alright, I'm off! I'll be back again before the week ends, but next week, I'll be taking a week off from Selective Potential while we're on our honeymoon. I decided to not line up guest bloggers this time, since I just had four fabulous gals this past summer... but I'll have a lot of great posts when we return! We're going to see so many amazing things up north, and hopefully a ton of fall colors!
