Can we just rewind to the beginning of the weekend? It was such a good one, with perfect autumn weather. I’m in my own little version of heaven here in Michigan right now, that’s for sure. Sunshine, falling leaves, sweater weather, I live for this season! On Saturday, Eric and I decided to take a little drive out to Greenville. One of our friends is an executive chef at The Green Harp so we’ve been meaning to head out there and try it. I’ve never been to Greenville before either, and it was fun to see their little downtown area!
Brunch was absolutely delicious. We sat down at a table by the window, and enjoyed some coffee. We split the stuffed tater tots (yum). Eric ordered the chicken and waffles, and I ordered the biscuits and gravy. Everything was great though. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Greenville area! They serve breakfast until noon, have a few breakfast items they serve all day, and early dinners from noon to 4pm. Plus, it has a cozy vibe inside with a fireplace.
After brunch, we decided to go and check out Klackle Orchards since we had never been there before. This place was legit an autumn amusement park. They had so many things to do for kids. Tons of rides, attractions, corn mazes, hay rides, you name it. Plus, they had everything from pumpkins, to cider, to donuts, to a whole gift shop full of everything imaginable. It was amazing. It was also very very busy. After we grabbed a half gallon of cider and snapped a few pictures, we headed out. Amazing place though, especially if you have children!
I’ve been so excited that it’s finally autumn weather. I’ve been pulling out all of my chunky cardigans and plaid scarves. I also told myself I wasn't going to buy anything new for fall/winter, but I ended up picking up a few sweaters from Old Navy and H&M this weekend on crazy sale. Plus, a burgundy brimmed hat from the Express outlet that I love. But now, truly, I'm done shopping until next spring. Mmk? Hold me to it. ;)
