Happy Tuesday! Whoa, two posts in a row? I know. It must be October, and I must be pumped to wear all of my autumn stuff and get out there and do all of the autumn things. On this lovely Monday, Eric and I headed out to dinner at SpeakEZ before catching the Jason Isbell show at DeVos. It was the best night! I ordered fizzy moscato and a fancy mac and cheese (who knew snap peas in mac and cheese could be so tasty?). Two of our friends met up with us for a drink, and we ended up walking down to the performance hall. The show was so good! We loved it. I get teary-eyed on so many of his songs. If you haven't listened to him before, you should!
This dress from Free People is one of my favorite autumn pieces. For as long as I've been blogging (7 years this past September, eep!), burnt orange has always been my favorite color in this season. I just switched over my wardrobe from summer to fall, and there's a very large portion of burnt orange pieces, so expect to see more! It's been kind of nice not having a ton of stuff to review on the blog (clothing-wise), because I've been able to remix some of my favorite pieces from seasons past! The only bummer to that is that I can't always link to shoppable pieces, but I'll make sure to link to similar items! This dress is still actually available, just not in the orange anymore.
Today has been pretty good though! I've been trying to get back to eating healthier (after a not-so-healthy summer), and I made a new WW recipe that was cider-braised chicken and apple sandwiches, with rosemary roasted red-skin potatoes. It was so yummy, and perfect for fall! I even have enough points left for popcorn tonight while I watch New Girl and This Is Us. You guys are watching that show, right? If not... get on it. I have a pretty hefty to-do list for you guys tonight (listen to music, cook this recipe, watch this show). Haha! Have a great rest of your week. xo
