Yay! It finally feels like warm weather is upon us here in Michigan! I'm absolutely thrilled. It was a long winter, that's for sure. Now the "busy" season begins... I think we have plans every single weekend from now until August 4th. Kind of crazy! But I'm looking forward to everything. The plans began last weekend with a super fun trip to Rochester Hills to see The 1975 and to catch a Detroit Tiger's game. I'll blog more about that later this week, so let's hop back to last Thursday!
One of our favorite places, Jonny B'z recently moved locations, expanded their menu and added cocktails. So Eric was on a mission to go to each of the "four corners" - Jonny B'z, The Winchester, Donkey and Elk Brewing. We met up with a few of our close friends, and started at Donkey for drinks and tacos. I tried a new cucumber sangria, which was really refreshing, and their ensalada central salad. Yum. Afterwards, we headed to Elk Brewing. We didn't make it to Winchester and Jonny B'z, so we'll have to attempt that on a weekend night, but nevertheless it was super fun! I'm so excited about our neighborhood and how it's just getting better and better every year.
I picked up this dress from ModCloth last winter, and have been hoarding it and impatiently waiting to wear it in warmer temperatures! I love everything off-the-shoulder right now, and the longer length and stripes make this dress perfection. I honestly just want to wear it everyday! Plus, it's on major sale right now for $29.99 for ModCloth's Memorial Day Sale! They have so many cute items on sale for up to 40% off right now. Be sure to head over and check it out!
This week is pretty busy from here until Memorial Day. Wine Club, catching a friend's comedy show, birthday parties, Memorial Day BBQs, a concert to attend, and visiting with family. I'm excited for a long holiday weekend. Plus it's the unofficial start to summer! Memorial Day always means summer here in Michigan until Labor Day when it all ends. Let's not think about that yet. I honestly just want to live everyday of this summer to the fullest. Accomplishing goals, yet still having a blast doing everything summer-fun related. Heading to the beach, riding my scooter, grilling out, taking lots of road trips, tubing trips, lighthouse exploring. I'm so happy it's only just beginning.
