Hi friends! Long time, no see. I haven't been intentionally taking a break from the blog, but it just sort of happened that way. First, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for your amazing support on my last post about my resolutions. I received so many amazing comments, emails, and texts from strangers and friends. It blew me away. I honestly had no idea so many people struggle with anxiety and headaches. It can feel like such a lonely thing, but it's so reassuring to know I'm not alone in this process! So thank you. Second, I'm here! I'm blogging! Woo! January is always tough for the blog, but I'm going to try to continue posting throughout the month. But, I also decided I'm not going to obsess over it or stress on the days when we can't snap photos. If anything, you miss a few jeans and striped tees looks (since that's all I wear lately anyway) but I will continue to be here as often as I can!
So if I didn't hype you up enough in that first paragraph about this killer outfit... get pumped! Jeans, a new striped tee (really? did you need another one?) and my everyday winter coat. But! The most exciting news about this entire outfit is that I finally splurged and bought the Hunter boots I've been wanting for YEARS. Seriously, these were so overdue. Since we're trying to save money and pay off debt right now, I was so happy when I received enough in gift cards for Christmas to buy these for myself. They are my fave! They aren't super duper warm, but they are 100% waterproof, so that in itself is amazing for these freezing rain days we've been having. Plus, I just wear my extra cozy fuzzy socks and I'm good to go! Love these though; so excited they are finally mine!
So I could recap everything going on in my life with the headaches (still have em) and the anxiety (no episodes lately), but I think I might try and do a little monthly recap at the end of the month. I'm not totally sure yet; and haven't been successful at that before, but we'll see. A lot of you are super interested in my weight loss endeavors (which has always been the case here on SP) so I'd love to somehow chat about that more. Not sure how. Use my abandoned Snapchat? Start a Tumblr? Just post about it here? Insta stories? Maybe if that's something you're interested in, let me know how you'd like to get that information. I have always struggled with bringing diet/fitness into this blog for some reason. It just isn't my "brand" if that makes any sort of stupid sense. But SP to me has always just been my outfits, happy daily life, and my travels around Michigan. But chat with me, let me know what you'd like to see here, or there, or anywhere, and I'm all ears.
