Onto the FINAL post of autumn... so sad! I loved autumn this year, and I'm so thankful it lasted all the way through November and even a little bit into December! We shot these photos right at the beginning of December before the temperatures dropped like crazy and we were hit with a mountain of snow! I loved being able to get a chance to wear these strappy wedges from DSW before I had to put them away for the season. They are my new favorite! I can't wait to bring them back out again in spring. A surefire way to jazz up a pretty basic outfit (jeans and turtleneck combo, which is one of my faves right now.)
Next we move onto some wintry posts from chopping our tree, our first snowfall and our annual day in Frankenmuth. Just in time for Christmas! On one hand it’s awesome to have a queue of photos to post, because it’s so hard with my full-time work schedule, workout calendar, and just overall busy holiday season to get content ready. On the other hand, I’m also a little behind in terms of posting our snowy winter wonderland! Eh, oh well. You can't win at everything ALL the time. Even though my perfectionist mind really wants to! ;)
What are your plans for the next few weeks? We have holiday parties, our trip to Frankenmuth, concerts, cookie exchanges, holiday plans with family, and before we know it, new year's eve will be here! I'm just trying to slow down a little bit and truly enjoy the holiday season. Our apartment feels so cozy right now with the tree and stockings hung. I've been binge-watching cheesy Christmas movies and cooking hearty meals at home. I finally finished up our Christmas shopping (in the nick of time!) so now I just have to wait for everything to arrive, and get to wrapping! But it feels good to have that done.
Mmk, off again... thank you as always for reading Selective Potential and supporting me in this crazy endeavor I've somehow managed to keep up for over 8 years! If you guys want to see anything on the blog in 2018, I'd love to hear your feedback or comments, so be sure to let me know. Feel free to comment below or email me at email@example.com anytime! I've gotten a lot of requests for my diet/fitness journey so I'm planning on that. I'm going to break it up into two posts... one on diet, one on fitness. But if there's anything else I'm doing right (or wrong!) let me know. I'm always happy to hear constructive criticism!
