I'm so in love with all things blooming right now in Michigan! It opens up so many more photo opportunities. This spot is a place we drive by all the time and would never stop before... but now is a different story! These pink blooms are so pretty! We had a couple of chilly days last weekend, so I was able to bust out a favorite sweater from last winter before putting it away for the season. I love the fun, poofy sleeves! Now we're almost into full summer mode though... lots of sunshine and warm temperatures on the forecast!
What else is new around here? I watched the season finale of New Girl last night... so cute! That was one of my favorite shows since the very beginning! SPOILER ALERT: I just wish Jess & Nick's wedding would have been more emotional/meant more... like Schmidt and Cece's wedding had me in TEARS! But the scene with the glimpse of the future was perfect, and I died over the ending scene of Winston's prank. Great way to end the show, but I'm definitely sad to see it go!
Tonight, I'm headed to Wine Club with the gals! I'm excited because it's Michigan-themed wines, and I love Michigan wines. I may be biased, but I think they're the best out of ANY region! Haha. Plus, it's beautiful outside, so we're planning on having it outdoors. Tomorrow, my husband's band (Chain of Lakes) is having an album release show... even though the album technically came out already. Be sure to check it out. It's SO good... every single song! It's called In&In, and it's also available on Spotify and iTunes!
Mmk... I'm off! I hope you guys have a great weekend! I'll likely be back early next week... currently getting ready for a yard sale this weekend (so much work!). We also have a concert we're going to, Eric is playing a show in Saugatuck, and I have a baby shower to attend. Busy, busy, but all good! I'm really looking forward to all of the fun plans and trips we have coming up soon! I just got an itinerary for a trip we're taking in June... to Springfield, Ohio, and I'm so excited! If you're from the area and have any tips for places to see/eat/drink, let me know in the comments below!
