Winter storms
I feel like I haven't updated in forever! Sorry guys! It has been the craziest week ever. I'll give you a quick recap. We have been hit hard with some crazy winter storms and there are more on the way! I've been finishing up the fall semester this week and I'm basically done. I had to turn in a project today, but my second class was canceled because my college closed at 3 because of the incoming storms! It basically rained all day (the sun even peeked out!) and now the temperature is supposed to just drop and drop and overnight everything is going to freeze. They said to lookout for closing schools tomorrow too. So basically I'm done with fall semester (yay, go me!) I even won a prize for my Flash project because it was "most improved" so I guess pulling that all-nighter was worth it.
After I got home, Brett and I went and rented a boatload of movies to prepare for our night inside observing the weather. It hasn't hit yet though! I need to go cook dinner too. I'm starved! I rented Holiday Inn with Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby. I can't wait to watch it! I'll let you guys know how it is (if you haven't seen it!)
So I'm back to loving my hair. I go through these phases and as much as much I'm obsessed with some of my favorite "style icons", I need to realize that I'm me and I'm different. I'm a blonde with no money to highlight her roots and can never make up her mind.. and apparently I'm stylish now because of it too! Did you see the who what wear article? I giggled when I saw it this morning.
Brett and I ran back to our car after our shots. It was soooo windy! I literally was pushing myself up because I thought the wind would knock me over at one point!
Brett just started cooking dinner (yay!) I swear he's a better cook than I am. I'm so terrible. I like to dine out.. it's my favorite, but a wee bit expensive to do every night. He's making us chicken with buttered egg noodles and garlic bread. It's our favorite dish at Noodles & Co. and we figured it'd be just as easy to make at home.. and it is! ps; I adore all of you.
