Holiday season sweaters with Smartwool x Zappos

Sponsored by Zappos

Can you believe… the holidays are here?! December is almost upon us… and so comes everything holiday-related. So exciting! One of my favorite things about this time of year is all the cozy. I love all the cozy blankets, socks, pajamas, and of course… sweaters! I’m loving this heavyweight Smartwool® CHUP Potlach Zip Sweater from Zappos! It’s super warm, and the regular fit offers a nice range of motion, and it’s so comfortable! Perfect for cozying up in during holiday get-togethers! Be sure to keep Smartwool top of mind for sweaters you can wear this season… or for holiday giving! I always have the best experience with Zappos too. It’s easy to become a Zappos Rewards member, which includes FREE expedited shipping. It’s crazy how fast items arrive! Plus, they have 24/7 customer service and a 365 day return policy. The best!

Leather + florals

Onto a new… short week! I’m really looking forward to the upcoming holidays. They just add a whole new level of cozy + warmth into your life. I’ve been holding off on all of the new holiday movies on Netflix too, so I mean next weekend, it’s onnnn. 🎅🏻😂 But! In the meantime, I’m still thoroughly enjoying fall over here. Thankfully all of the snow melted… the sun has peeked out the last couple of days… and it actually feels like autumn and November! I wasn’t ready for giant parkas and winter boots! And I’m excited I could style these böhme goodies with a cute pair of heels. I recently collaborated with them to style up this adorable Avis Leather Moto Jacket + their Mira Floral Dress. I loveee both pieces! So cute. This jacket is great quality, and it’s super affordable. Be sure to head over to their site… 25% off everything right now!

Weekend in Bloomington, Indiana: Part 2

Onto part 2 of our weekend in Bloomington, Indiana! It was great to have a full day to explore the city… and we were blessed with amazing autumn weather. So we started the day with a light brunch at La Vie en Rose, which is a charming and authentic French cafe, specializing in French pastries and quiches, baked in house daily. We parked right out front, were quickly seated inside their cute cafe, and enjoyed lattes, quiches (leek & bacon was so good!) and split a butter-sugar crepe, which was my favorite. After brunch, we left the car parked there and decided to explore Bloomington by scooter!

Weekend in Bloomington, Indiana: Part 1

I’m excited to blog about our trip to Bloomington, Indiana! As you all know, I love exploring Michigan… and I’m really excited to be getting out of the state to explore more of the midwest. Definitely a midwest fan over here! Bloomington, included. It was such a fun weekend. The town is small enough to get a good sense of in a long weekend, but also big enough to provide so many different adventures and options of places to eat, drink, and see. We followed a fun scavenger hunt from Visit Bloomington and tried to knock as much as we could off the list… but didn’t even make it close to half way! Looks like we’ll have to schedule another trip there soon!

Fallen leaves

So right before all the snow hit… November was pretty darn dreamy! Not to say I don’t like snow, I really do. I mean you sort of have to like it at least a little bit to live in Michigan and be sane, hahaha. But I just wish it’d hold off until after Thanksgiving. Ah well, can’t control the weather! All you can do is enjoy the beautiful fallen leaves while they’re here, and before they’re covered with snow! Those gray days though, with all the leaves falling down, rustling in the street, the sound they make, the smell, agh, it’s just all so perfect. I love autumn so much! I wish it’d stick around a bit longer. But hopefully we’ll get a few more nice days before the season ends! 🍂

Prepping for the entertainment season at home

I can’t believe how quickly the holidays are approaching! Before we know it, Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here. Do you host anyone at your home for the holidays? Our families all live nearby, so we don’t have to entertain anyone, but we love having friends over for dinners, wine nights, and of course, movie nights! That’s why we love having our Xfinity internet to stream throughout the entire cozy season. Our house is pretty much the go-to for watching the big game, season finales, and movie nights. We also subscribe to almost every streaming service (Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Prime Video)...haha! So, we can get our hands on pretty much any movie to stream or rent through Xfinity.

Xfinity sponsored this post. The opinions and text are my own.
