Winter uniform

Hi there! Happy Monday. Did you guys have a good weekend? Mine was pretty good! Friday + Saturday, I just stayed home, lol. Super exciting stuff over here. But I was really productive! I listed a ton of stuff on Poshmark, so if you’re interested in shopping my closet, head over there! Things are going quickly. I played some Sims 4, caught up on some cleaning, and then Sunday was the best day ever! I met up with friends for brunch at 11am, that somehow turned into an all day Sunday Funday and we ended at 7:30pm at night. 😂 Such a good day though; I had a headache pretty much all day today, but it was worth it. Hahaha. I still managed to get to the gym tonight so woo!

Hi there! Me again! Back so soon. I’m trying to catch up on a few posts because I took these photos a couple of weeks ago now! I’ve been slacking! But yeah, this outfit is very much a “me on the weekend” outfit — ripped denim, my leather jacket, ankle boots, a wrap bodysuit and a beanie. Like all of my favorite things right now wrapped into one outfit. I wore this out downtown to grab dinner and see a movie at the new Studio Park downtown. I loveeee that movie theater, and it’s so close to my work. But yeah, saw Knives Out — which is SO good! I absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend if you haven’t seen it yet.

Talking about fitness

I haven’t chatted about fitness in a while on the blog… so I figured I’d do a little update on my eating/exercise routine, how I’ve maintained my weight loss, and to chat about some of my favorite workout gear! As many of you know I lost 35 pounds in my early twenties, and it was one of the most frequently asked questions on the blog for years! And I did end up gaining it back in my later twenties, only to lose it again in my early thirties. And now I’m super proactive to maintain my weight loss, to continue to be intentional with healthy eating and exercising, and honestly I’m in such a good routine right now that I can’t imagine ever getting to a place where I’d let it all go again. So that’s a great feeling! But let’s chat more…

Hello February! I’m going to make suuuure I pop in here more often this month. It’s my goal to blog 8x a month which really isn’t a lot at all (I used to blog 20x a month in my prime days!) but I just need to make sure I commit! I really slacked on IG in January too. So yeah, February is just an easier month though. It’s still light out by the time I get out of work, so I can snap photos on weeknights if I need to. But I’ve been trying to get as many photos as I can on the weekends to last me through the week so I can focus on other things — getting to the gym, staying late at work, or just relaxing and catching up on Netflix! So yeaahhh! Woo to a new month and new goals!

Living the pretty happy life

Heyooo! Happy Sunday! Hope you all had a great weekend. I can’t believe this was the last weekend of January! On one hand, it feels like January has lasted 8 weeks. 😆 On the other hand, it’s really gone by quite fast. It feels like I was just ringing in the new year with friends! It’s been a super fun month though and I’m excited to see what the rest of 2020 has in store. But yeah, I’ve been all about the cozy outfit vibes lately — lots of denim, boots, cute sweaters. This Twist Sweater from HappyxNature is one of my faves lately! I love the deep blue color, and the sleeves are so cute! Be sure to head over and check out this brand. I love what they stand for — easy, free-spirited fashion that minimizes impact on non-renewable resources.

Holyyyy molyyyyy — that was a blog break! I didn’t mean to take almost ALL of January off, haha! But I kicked off 2020 (literally New Year’s Day) with an awful flu, that turned into a bad cold, that lingered for 2+ weeks! So I’m finally feeling like my normal self and easing back into my everyday life — blogging, working out, cleaning, EATING, lol. I didn’t even want to eat for a while there! So glad to be feeling better, and back here! I’m wrapping up this post/outfit since I haven’t blogged it yet and then I’ll be moving into some new content from this year! Wooo!
