Hello, Cleveland!

A few weekends ago, Eric and I headed out to Cleveland, Ohio! I bought him tickets for Valentine's Day to see Fleetwood Mac, so we decided to make a little weekend trip out of it. We spent Saturday driving out there (about a 4.5 hour drive from Grand Rapids) and checked into our hotel. We grabbed a drink at City Bar, and met a super nice couple who ended up buying us a round! I had a few girls email me tips for Cleveland and a lot of them told me to avoid downtown, but we ended up really liking it. Our hotel was right downtown, across from the arena, and close to a couple of good bars/grills. It was so busy though because of the concert and the Indians game!

After having a drink, we made our way to the Q Arena to see Fleetwood Mac. Well, our seats ended up being maybe the worst possible seats in the entire arena. Haha! And I paid (what I thought was!) good money for those tickets! So we ended up sneaking down to a different level, just to the right of the stage. It was an elevated area right above floor seats, so aka, perfect seats. We saw two open ones, asked a couple if they were taken and they said no, so we sat down! So, we ended up having the best seats and being able to see the entire band in clear view. It was so amazing. One of those nights you'll never forget, for sure. Eric and I both love Fleetwood Mac and ended up singing along and holding hands all night. It was perfect.

I bought this dress a few months ago from Forever21 and it's one of my favorites! It's just a perfect, easy dress to throw on and goes with whatever color really. I especially love it with red, just because I love red in general! Plus it's 100% cotton so it's really lightweight for hot days. I was honestly overwhelmed with the midwestern hospitality of Ohio, because I received at least five different compliments on my outfit, which was so sweet! Cleveland, you're not so bad in my book. ;)

I loved spending the weekend with Eric, seeing one of our favorite bands, eating the best pickle chips and cuddling and watching Family Guy in our giant king bed that night. It was a great, needed weekend. We've been through a lot together lately and it's honestly only made us stronger. I'm really excited to start a new adventure with him at our new apartment and to build more memories. Life is truly so good right now; mostly thanks to this guy. So yeah, sap fest over! We also went to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame the next day, but I have a different post on that, of course!
