Big Bay Beach
I am living for these pre-autumn feels right now! My favorite thing currently is small weeknight adventures to golden hour and take photos close to home. I took a drive out to Big Bay, which… I always forget how close it is to Marquette and need to make a point to go more often because I have such a soft spot for that town. But I wanted to head back to Big Bay Beach, because it’s such an idyllic setting. I took a walk along the beach, spent a few minutes watching the waves, and then just loved the drive back home most. Sandy feet, windows slightly cracked, music up, seeing the fall color start to transition, it’s just one of my favorite things after a golden hour. Healing vibes. 🍂
This is a very “me” outfit right now… I’ve been living in these Madewell Perfect Vintage Jeans (have them in Maplewood Wash too). But yeah, this coat. I feel so sad for everyone who has asked… because it sold out so quickly. But I saw it for sale last year and missed out. And then I weirdly got a Facebook ad this past summer about it being back in stock… and ordered it immediately. But when I went on the Madewell website, it wasn’t available? It was like a weird secret Facebook ad or some weird fate from the universe, lol. But it’s absolutely my favorite thing right now in my closet. I linked a similar option below, but maybe add it to your favorites on the Madewell website and hopefully they’ll restock it!
Otherwise… I’m just continuing along! Getting out for golden hours, spending time alone, not settling, working on myself, making big steps toward becoming the version of myself I want to be. It’s a journey. And it’s sad. But it’s also really happy and rewarding too. I have a lot of goals and plans for autumn, mostly adventures and continuing to hit strides on some of my bigger goals. I just celebrated my Yoopiversary yesterday, and oof. Talk about a sentimental day as I reflected back on this year… and all the places and people that made it so special. I’m forever grateful and excited to see what the next year will bring. 🤍
