Bittersweet October

Bittersweet October. The mellow, messy, leaf-kicking, perfect pause between the opposing  miseries of summer and winter. ~ Carol Bishop Hipps

It is gorgeous (color-wise) outside in Michigan. Weather-wise? Not so much, well in my opinion. I'm always freezing in our mid-40 degree temperatures, but I guess I can't complain because look what these temperatures are doing to our leaves. It's gorgeous. I take the back roads instead of the main highway lately, because the fall colors are just too beautiful. I can't wait to get more fall color photographs. It is just stunning outside. I could never live in a place that didn't have autumn colors. I've been reading about southern states, like Florida, that don't have leaf change. They don't even know what they're missing. I love this jacket I bought from H&M a few years ago. It has accentuated shoulders and looks so classy. It finally fits me perfect too after all these winters. ps; I've gained 3 pounds since October began! I need to massively cut back this week! Chicago's bread killed it for me, plus Brett's confetti cake. Grrr!

These pictures turned out incredibly beautiful. They don't do a whole lot to show off the outfit, but they are just amazing in color and vibrance. I adore them. It is honestly so colorful outside. I can't get over how beautiful it all is to me! Excuse the garbage can ;), I just loved this photo because the sun highlighted my hair.

I bought a new tape adapter for my car, so now I'm not stuck listening to rap/pop/shit music in my car with horrendous lyrics and awfulness, but I did download Ke$ha's - TiK ToK. It is seriously an amazing song, haha. AWFUL, but amazing to dance to in the car. I'm so embarrassed!
