Minnetonka: Handcrafted for the Holidays

I'm excited to announce a fun collaboration with Minnetonka Moccasin! They just put out a Handcrafted for the Holidays lookbook, featuring so many of my favorite bloggers. We each styled up a pair of our favorite moccasins, and featured a handcrafted holiday tradition. I chose to do my favorite Christmas cookie - Santa's Whiskers! Be sure to head over and check out the lookbook, and find the recipe there. They are so good.

Phew, I've been busy lately! No complaints, but I'm just trying to keep my head above water right now! Work has been busy, but so great lately. I've been doing pretty good about getting holiday gifts purchased before Christmas Eve this year. Although Eric somehow tricked me into getting his big one early - ugh. I'm so easily manipulated with his trickery! But now he has a new stereo in his car, which he desperately needed. His old one would constantly turn the volume up randomly out of nowhere and your ears would be blown for about five minutes. Good thing I have some other tricks up my sleeve for Christmas still!

It's been so snowy here in Michigan! I was driving home today, just thinking about how glad I am that it's winter. I wouldn't want it to be any other season right now. The snow is perfect, even the cold is refreshing. I love bundling up in sweaters, sipping hot beverages, watching the snowflakes fall from the sky. It's just perfect to me right now, and winter can take as long as it'd like this year. I'll perhaps regret saying this in March, but for now… I'm in love.

Be sure to head over to Minnetonka's website to check out the lookbook! One tip if you decide to make the Santa's Whiskers' recipe is that once you're done mixing everything together, it will look very crumbly. You have to dig your hands into the mix and just squish until it starts to feel/look like cookie dough. It will take a little bit, but it should come together pretty easily! Enjoy! Let me know if you make them and end up liking them! And be sure to take at least one bite of the dough. ;)
