Hiiii there! Happy Tuesday after a long holiday weekend. Did you guys have a good one? Mine was very chill and very productive. I didn’t do a whole ton social-wise, except grill out with friends on Sunday. Otherwise, I knocked a thousand things off my to-do list, which is the best feeling. Mostly around the apartment, but I painted/patched a bunch of walls, scrubbed every inch, knocked out a ton of laundry, organized my closet, dropped a load off to donate, mailed out some Poshmark orders, sold a few things on marketplace, etc. It definitely feels like the end of summer though! Labor Day always marks the end for me personally, even though I know it’s not until end of September. But we’ve got ALL the cooler weather + fall vibes happening right now. I can’t lie… I’m a little excited! As much as I love summer, I’m a fall gal through and through!

This transitional weather though is my favorite for getting dressed! Layering just makes getting dressed so much more fun and exciting. I just recently got this adorable Evergreen Top from Red Clover Boutique… it’s a perfect layering piece! I brought my jean jacket along with this outfit, but this top would be so cute under a chunky cardigan come fall too. Olive green is one of my favorite colors to style up. It goes with so many colors in my closet. Be sure to head over and shop this top! Red Clover is a cute boutique based out of Savannah, Georgia. Free shipping + they’re offering 15% off for their Labor Day sale! I’m loving this speckled cardigan, colorblock sweater, and red rocks dress too!

Well, I’m sure it’ll start looking a bit more fall around here soon! I’m in an in-between time right now because I’m heading up to Marquette in a couple of weeks… and probably won’t fully switch my closet over before then. I’m planning on taking a capsule wardrobe up with me with about ~30 pieces or so. It’s getting colder up there, so I’ll definitely be taking lots of beanies + jackets. I bought a few new pieces for the trip too… some hiking boots, a new plaid jacket, etc. I’m excited for all the fall style + foliage up there. It’s going to be such an adventure; I can’t wait. I’m a little bit nervous but mostly just excited. It’s going to be such a meaningful month to me. Anyway! I’m off for now, will be back this week I’m sure. Hope you have a great start to your week!
