Mt. Marquette Golden Hour
So life is moving along… almost halfway through November! I’m sort of in love with this month right now. I usually am, it gives a sense of slowness after a usually busy October. But our weather… has hung on tight, we’ve had some beautiful days, some fall color that has lasted, and now we’re in post-peak, I just… I don’t know. I’m all about these vibes, the gales of November, hearing the waves when I step out my door, the last remaining leaves on the trees, the wind blowing them through the streets. Hanging onto the last bit of autumn while it’s here. 🍂 I recently headed up to Mount Marquette (probably for the last time until spring!) and golden hour is always magical up there. I get a little sentimental in this spot, because I can look at so many landmarks of the city and reminisce on the memories I’ve had in this town. The laughter, the fun, the tears shed, the healing, all the moments that got me here to where I am right now. I’m so grateful life brought me here. It gives me hope that the universe will always bring me exactly where I need to be.
So what else is new? I recently listed a bunch of items on my Poshmark… a lot sold already, so be sure to go and check it out! I’ll be listing more in the coming days as well. I’ve been getting organized, getting rid of stuff, and it feels really good to have less of everything in my life right now. Clean car, clean room. I’m also really into the small things lately… painting my nails, new rings, lighting my autumn harvest candle, cooking meals at home, getting outside for runs. I’ve been hustling hard on running 4x a week, and it’s such a good feeling to be back into that routine. I went and visited my friend Holly in Iron Mountain, I have a trip coming up to Eagle River… all the waterfalls, lighthouses, yummy UP foods, and Lake Superior views. All good things! Healing.
