Tulip fields at sunrise

Thirteen consecutive years at the tulip fields… and this is the first time visiting during sunrise! I was a little bummed because I was maybe a week early… the fences were still up to keep the deer out, the fields weren’t 100% in bloom yet, and it was quite chilly this morning, but it was still beautiful and it was lovely to see the fields in a whole new light. Maybe not my most fashion-forward tulip photos, and I was very tired waking up for sunrise 😆 but I loved this experience. Tulip Time is going on all week in Holland… so if you’ve never been before, add it to your list!

I’m a little ashamed that this is my third time wearing this coat… in a row on the blog. Hahaha. I didn’t plan that, but wasn’t expecting this morning to be so chilly/dewy! My sneakers were soaked by the time I walked throughout the fields to snap photos. After sunrise at Windmill Island, ventured downtown to eat breakfast at Windmill Restaurant and to work a little bit at Lemonjello’s. Downtown Holland was beautiful with all of the tulips in bloom. I also love popping into Frances Jaye whenever I’m in the area too. A great morning in Holland! One of my favorite traditions every year. 🌷
