CR-510 Bridge View
Fifth year… at the 510 Bridge in autumn! I almost didn’t go this year, because… I felt so overwhelmed with some photo/video content I was working on, travels, just October plans in general (always the fastest month, I swear), but I decided to head out here midday, which I never do. I always wait til golden hour, and honestly, it was glorious because nobody was around and I was easily able to take photos and I didn’t miss peak colors! Yayyyy! But yeah, this spot is one of my absolute favorites in autumn, it’s easy to access, nearby parking, you can get views from the top of the new bridge and below on the old bridge, and if you haven’t been before in autumn, you just gotta goooo! 🍂
I remember back in old Selective Potential days, pattern mixing was huuuuuge. Mostly in like crazy tights and patterned dresses, but I thought this was a fun nod to that era, in current Tieka style, buffalo plaid and stripes. I picked up this sweater from Madewell maybe a couple of years ago now? Someone said once it’s my Charlie Brown sweater, hahaha, so now I always think of that. But an oversized flannel on top of a sweater or hoodie is one of my favorite go-to style moves lately, it’s just nice to be layered up here because you never know what kind of weather you’ll get, and at night it gets cold fast. But this day was beautiful, overcast, but warm, and again, NO PEOPLE AROUND!
October is quickly coming and going… can’t believe it’s already the 23rd. Oof. And I always always ALWAYS wait til the last minute on a Halloween costume, so I really have no idea what I’m going as this year. But I’m excited for this upcoming week and weekend, always my favorite time of year, this entire month is actually, and this October has been extra fun and extra special, and life is good! It’s wild! Just so steady and so good. But hoping to get out and check out some festivities this weekend, watch some fave Halloween movies, and bask in the beauty that is October. I wish it lasted longer, that’s for sure! 🍂
