By Thill's

What if… we tried some quick outfit shots?! Like 4-6 photos. A little quick post that doesn’t requite a ton of time commitment. It was nice on this night actually… I finished a full work day, worked on the program for Fresh Coast Film Festival, ate dinner at home, worked on my 15th blogiverary post, walked around the neighborhood quick, shot a few photos by Thill’s Fish House, went home, and still had time to… start a new show and catch up with some friends. A pretty OK solo evening.

15 Year Blogiversary

In celebration of my 15th blogiversary, here's a new outfit post, paying homage to my first post with gray and finding a railroad track here in Marquette! On September 3, 2009, I took my first "outfit shots" on the tracks near my apartment in Grand Haven after discovering fashion blogs. What started as a fun, personal project led me on an amazing journey. I'm so grateful for the experience!

Big Bay Point Lighthouse

Ahhhh, the Big Bay Point Lighthouse. What a dream! I absolutely love visiting this lighthouse, but it’s extra magical when I can stay overnight. It’s one of the few operational lighthouses that offer a bed and breakfast, and such a perk it’s so close to Marquette, only 24 miles northwest in the town of Big Bay, Michigan. The Cheboygan Lighthouses

The Cheboygan Lighthouses! #101, #102, and #103. These are very accessible lighthouses in Cheboygan… all located within five minutes of each other. The Front Range Light is set back a bit on Water Street, sort of in an industrial area, and is normally open for tours/a little gift shop. The Crib Light & Pier Light are located in Turner Park. I loved the Crib Light most… it’s just a cute little lighthouse before you take a walk on the pier!

St. Helena Island Lighthouse

St. Helena Island Lighthouse… my 100th Michigan lighthouse! I knew I wanted 100 to be a special one, and St. Helena was more of an experience… you have to take a boat to get there, you can tour the grounds, and climb the tower. Plus, she’s just a beaut! This lighthouse symbolized not just an accomplishment but the many adventures and lighthouses still to come!

Lilac season

Finally… a new outfit post after… how many months?! We’re in the thick of lilac season in Marquette (such a magical time) and I figured I’d… try and see if I still got a little fashion blogger left in me! It’d be fun to ease back into it, but we’ll see. I dress so casually these days. Anyway, hi! I’m back after a little hiatus!
