This week, I took a beautiful fall color drive with my friend Alex as the Upper Peninsula hit its peak! We made a quick stop at Teal Lake to snap some fun photos. Despite a little car sickness, we ended the adventure with wings and lots of laughs. I brought back some old-school Selective Potential vibes with my cut-off denim shorts, tights, and a thrifted green wool coat—fall layering at its best! Now, I’m gearing up for the Fresh Coast Film Festival and soaking in every last bit of autumn. 🍂

Every fall, I visit the Dead River Bridge to soak in the beautiful autumnal colors! This time, I wore my go-to wedgie-fit jeans, a new black button-up sweater, and my trusty wood block heels for a cozy fall look. Afterward, I headed to Jackson's Pit in Negaunee for dinner. I’m excited for more autumn adventures! October really is the best month. 🍂

It was the perfect autumn evening for a drive out to Big Bay, with the fall colors popping off in full force… finally! 🍂 I headed to Yellow Dog River Bridge to soak in the golden hour light and the autumnal views. I wore my favorite plaid shacket from Madewell and broke in my new Blundstone boots—perfect for an evening like this. I loved cruising the back roads at dusk, which is easily one of my favorite ways to spend a fall weeknight. There’s nothing quite like autumn in the U.P.!

Lately, I’ve been enjoying a mix of autumn adventures and cozy moments. I went to Harlow Lake, a favorite spot for early fall colors, while wearing a soft new cardigan and wide-leg jeans. I also joined the community for Plaidurday at South Beach, and embraced the fall crisp air this weekend. Between baking cookies, catching sunsets, and sipping Witches Brew, October has felt like the perfect balance of fun and relaxation. This season is all about finding that cozy yet stylish vibe, and I’m embracing every bit of it!

October hits… and so does my collection of burnt orange sweaters. 😆 And it’s finally feeling like more autumn weather here in the Upper Peninsula, although, our fall colors are quite behind schedule! But it was nice to transition a bit from summer to fall this week. Just a quick one today, with a sort of “old-school” Tieka outfit post. Still rocking the polka dot tights, however many years later!
