I am legit rocking out to AC/DC’s “Back in Black” as I write this post. Hahaha. Was that a blog break or what? I just couldn’t get it together since the holidays, even though we’ve had the best, most mild winter ever. I like to kick off the new year with resolutions… setting a financial goal, or a new fitness goal, and sometimes the blog takes a little bit of a hit. But I should start setting more goals for this blog. I don’t! But I’m back (in black, har har) and I’m going to try my darnedest to start getting content up here regularly. Thank you so much for sticking around — as always! I appreciate it so much.
After “Marie-Kondoing” the shit out of my apartment, I’m all of a sudden back in love with thrifting. Hahaha, who would have thought? I haven’t been thrifting in forever, to be honest. Probably since my broke college days. But I’ve been on the hunt for a blazer for a long time. I ordered a few online, and had to send them back because they either didn’t fit right or just looked cheap. So this past weekend, I decided to head to Salvation Army to look around… and found this perfect black blazer for $4! Seriously? And then I decided to check out Goodwill too, and hit the sweater jackpot in all the earthy, burnt orange, beautiful colors. I got a blazer, and three new sweaters for under $18! The only problem with thrifting and blogging is that I can’t link to the exact product, but I tried to find some similar options for you below!
What did you do this weekend? I mostly watched movies. I think I watched… four movies, which I guess isn’t a whole ton. And it was ALL over the place. Tag, It Takes Two, Kidnap (which was surprisingly good!) and 10 years (which was surprisingly not good). I also completed my January Cure assignments, did a little thrifting, grocery shopping, and then somehow managed to make myself look presentable enough to take these photos! Next up is cauliflower pizzas… and getting ready for the week! I can’t believe we’re halfway through January already. I’m glad to be in “winter mode” right now — hibernating a bit, working on some goals, but I’ll also be happy to see more sunshine after I get out of work. Have a good week!
