Ohio's Most Beautiful Mile
On our second night in Lakeside Ohio, we decided to stroll along “Ohio’s Most Beautiful Mile” and grab dinner at Lago — two very recommended things to do in this adorable town! Since we had rented a golf cart for the day, we had a little time before we needed to return it. So we drove around town for a bit, enjoying the sights, and stopped to a little turnout so we could walk down this path along Lake Erie. It’s so pretty for a stroll — I’m not surprised of its name! The flowers and landscaping were absolutely gorgeous!

For dinner, we headed to Lago! It’s a fun “poolside” restaurant, which is located right next to the pool. I loved the vibes of this restaurant! It’s a fusion of Hawaiian, Cuban, American, Asian and Mexican cuisine. Lots of variety! Eric and I went for the homemade guacamole (delish) and then I had to try the aloha burger sliders, and Eric went for the street tacos. We definitely split the meals, and had to take a giant box to-go (so much food!) but it was delicious and we loved our experience. They have dining indoors and outdoors (we sat outside, the weather was perfect) and they have a fun walkup window where you can take items to go.
I have one more post coming from our trip to Lakeside, Ohio. Trying to play catch up, since I’m a little behind. I can’t believe this trip was a month ago now! I have the best memories from it though; and constantly think about how much this trip/town surprised me. Definitely be sure to check out the activities they have coming up this fall… or plan a trip for next summer during their summer program! I’d definitely love to go back again someday; if anything; just for how calm and relaxed I felt when I was there… and for the vibes. BEST vibes ever on this trip between the gorgeous sunsets, delicious food, and laughs while sliding into the pool, or riding around on the golf cart, or catching that comedy show. All so much fun!
