I turned 34! Every night has been something new… eating my annual Olive Garden birthday dinner lol, drinks on Wealthy with the girls, taking photos for a friend, or heading out to Muskegon to see my parents and have a beach day/eat delicious pizza. By Sunday, I literally just stayed in bed all day, watched Mystic Pizza + Mr. Deeds lolllll and now it’s already Thursday of the next week and I’m just like where is time goinggggg.
Read MoreI cannot believe we’re approaching the end of July… and that AUGUST is this weekend. 🤯 It went by so quickly! For how sloooowwww quarantine went, the last couple of months have just flown by. I’m just kind of taking it easy over here. It’s been a weird summer. All I do lately is work from home, go running, and hang out with my girlfriends… likely we’re drinking on a patio somewhere. Haha!
Read MoreI could seriously relive this weekend over and over. I headed down to southwest Michigan to do a little wine tasting. Went to Lemon Creek Winery & Round Barn. Round Barn was my favorite… they had boozy slushies, and they were SO good. I had their frosé and mango one. After that, headed back up to Saugatuck, had dinner at The Southerner, watched the sunset at Oval Beach and got soft-serve ice-cream on the way home. Like 🙌🏻. Perfect day.
Read MoreI pretty much wear this outfit on a constant rotation, haha. These jeans are my absolute favorite I’ve gotten from Madewell in a while, and I just love these sneaks too. So yeah! Spring really flew by quickly. Even with everything going on in the world and how challenging it was, I enjoyed the season overall. I had a lot of self-growth and got into a really good routine. Lots of learning + slowing down, that’s for sure.

Read MoreAlright — I’m going to catch up a little bit here on the blog. The last couple of weeks have been such an important time, and I wanted to make sure I wasn’t putting out unhelpful noise, but instead that I was listening and learning. I also wanted to make sure that what I put online wasn’t performative, or doing what others were without thinking about how it affected this movement. I don’t know. I know I can use my audience/influence for good, but I’m also not an expert activist. And there’s a lot of my life that doesn’t show up here on the blog or on Instagram, including my personal journey with diversity, equity and inclusion. But I absolutely love blogging about my outfits, travels and adventures, and the positives of my everyday life and I plan to continue that because it makes me happy! And I’ll try to be more helpful with sharing important things that could help the BLM movement and continue to think about my actions and what I put out there for you guys!
