Call for guest bloggers!

At the end of the month, I will be taking a week off from work, blogging, wedding planning, everything. I haven’t had a straight week off since before college! As you might guess, I'm pretty excited. I’m going to use this time as a “staycation” and relax before the next three months of wedding frenzy begin. We live in such a beautiful summer tourist location, and I plan on just heading to the beach, taking a few day trips, organizing my apartment (and head!) and spending time with friends and family over the 4th of July holiday.

While I’m off, I’m looking for four guest bloggers to take over! The theme is Adventure in Style. I’m looking for outfit posts/adventures that include lighthouses, caves, waterfalls, monuments, sculptures, natural wonders, you name it. If it’s fun in your town, I want to know about it!

To submit your idea, email me at tieka@selectivepotential.com with a simple one-sentence idea. I had a few girls get mad at me the last round because they submitted a huge idea with five paragraphs, and spent a lot of time on it, and unfortunately I’m only able to choose four bloggers! For example, you can just say, “Hey Tieka! My idea is the Boston Public Garden, with a cute floral dress.” Keep it simple! Also, include a link to your blog in your email.

I will be taking submissions until Friday, June 12th. This doesn't mean the full post, just an idea of what you're thinking. I will then select four of you to participate and work with you to get the post up at the end of June. This will give you two weeks to go on the adventure and take photos. The full submissions will be due by Friday, June 26th. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with! xo
