The white flowers
Tonight, Eric and I headed out east to the historic Fallasburg Village to meet our wedding photographer! I'll post more pictures from that session when I receive them, but it was such a perfect summer evening. Plus, we caught some gorgeous light! We explored some of the abandoned barns and the old schoolhouse, but when we found this gorgeous field of white wildflowers, I knew we had to snap some pictures here! I'll have to go back and do a full post on the village. I went years ago, but it deserves another post. It's amazing.
This week has been a bit of a blur honestly. I'm so ready for things to slow down. I love summer, and the fast-paced adventure of it all, but I'm so overwhelmed with trying to keep up with everything! I know the next two months are going to fly until the wedding, and I'm going to try and enjoy every second I can, especially because autumn is my favorite season of all time. But thankfully our honeymoon after the wedding is taking a fall color tour up north, so I'll finally get to relax then! Until then, I just have to hang on for the ride!
I've been slowly trying to build up my fall wardrobe a little bit – new jeans, a couple of cardigans, and some long-sleeved dresses. This bohemian tunic from Free People is super pretty, and could be styled a millon ways. With different color slips, cardigans, or tucked in and worn as a top. It's super sheer, so I layered a black cami dress underneath. But I just love sleeved dresses. They have my heart always.
Alright, I'm off! Publishing at 12:30am... that's my life right now. Tomorrow night, we have two friends playing an outdoor concert, and then Friday starts the wedding festivities for one of my very best friends! I'm so excited. We've been planning alongside each other all year, and I'm so thrilled to see how beautiful everything is going to turn out. It's going to be a good weekend. I'll hopefully be back on Friday with another post, but if not, blah, I'll see you Monday. xo
