Happy Sunday! I'm popping in with a quick outfit post in collab with local boutique, jb and me. I have two outfit posts coming at you... this is the first one! Everyone is getting excited for autumn around here... boots and plaids are coming out in full force! I'm still trying to hang onto these last days of summer, especially since August is my favorite summer month. But! It's hard not to get some autumn frenzy this time of year, especially as the air gets a little cooler and you can start to bust out some of your new purchases. This outfit is a bit unique for me, but still me at the same time! I love the twist to the jeans, the worn-in boots, and the off-the-shoulder plaid with a lace bandeau styled underneath!
Did you have a good weekend? We did! Friday night, Eric had a show in Muskegon, so I went with him... but it ended up being chilly (outdoor venue), so I headed to Target to spend some gift cards and came back to pick him up. Saturday, I started the morning off with a workout class, and then spent more gift cards (yay to birthdays!) at Ulta, and loaded up on new makeup for the next season. Saturday night, we had a total blast from the past and saw Taking Back Sunday. The last time I saw them was 15 years ago with friends I ended up seeing at the show. I love when things are full circle like that. Today, we got brunch, went grocery shopping, and went zip-lining with a friend who leads the tours. So fun! Now we're about to watch Game of Thrones with friends, and call it a weekend and onto a new week!
August sure is flying though! We have a full week ahead... and a friend was able to get us tickets to see Tegan & Sara on Thursday, so that'll be fun! Otherwise, not much else is new. Just trying to enjoy August as much as I can before it's gone! My goal is to make sure we go swimming in Lake Michigan, enjoy another soft serve ice-cream cone, and take another long bike ride somewhere fun. What are your plans for the rest of the month? Any fun ideas to finish up summer?
