Golden days of summer
Hi friends! I’m excited to be teaming up with Lee & Birch for the next couple of weeks to promote their Runway off Wealthy show coming up on September 14. So this outfit, and this setting (my favorite go-to apple orchards), and this golden light just has me in the mood for autumn. I know, I know, we’re still pretty much two months away… but I LOVE autumn. It’s the best season, forever and always. As much as I love summer, we always just hit a certain point in the year where it’s just hot AF and I’m so over being sweaty, and not being able to blow dry or curl my hair without feeling like the need to take another shower afterwards. I know I’ll probably regret saying this in the winter, but it’s the truth. But I’m just in love with every season in general — sweaty or freezing, each season brings on a different mood, different activities, a different mindset. I think maybe I’m just in the back-to-school mindset right now where I just bought my clothes and now I want to WEAR them! ;)

So okay, back to summer. I’m going to really make sure I just enjoy this last full month of summer before I fully dive into fall (even if it is my favorite…) But we have a fun month planned! I plan on picking back up on my small goals for the month next week (missed July!) so I can update you there, but otherwise… Eric has a lot of shows this month, we’re seeing Taking Back Sunday (I haven’t seen them in like 15 years, which is crazy!), we’re heading to Muskegon a few times, I’m finally getting my hair trimmed (it’s been months), I’m also hosting an event at Madewell at the end of the month in Ann Arbor, so I’ll keep you posted on updates there! Time is flying, even if the days sometimes feel so slow. I started a migraine-elimination diet, so I’ll talk more about that in my small goals for August. Have a great weekend, you guys!
