Hi, hello! We're onto Monday, and thankfully it's already almost over. This past weekend was good for us! Friday night, Eric played a show so I stayed in, made a buffalo chicken salad, rented a movie, and binge-watched Gilmore Girls until falling asleep. Saturday, I did a little shopping at Lee & Birch for their fashion show on Thursday. I got a super cute floral dress... can't wait to show you guys! Saturday night, we met up with friends for dinner and to walk around the Eastown Street Fair. Sunday, I met up with a friend to see Home Again (so cute!) and then Eric and I headed to Donkey, for our first visit there this summer, which is SO weird for us! But it was a great weekend! (This outfit was from dinner with friends/street fair!)
This top is one of the three items I purchased from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I'm absolutely loving this plum color for autumn, and this is my first plum piece in my closet! Now I'm on the hunt for more pieces! I got so many compliments on this top for the sleeves, and they are so much easier to deal with than bell sleeves. I love bell sleeves, but you really cannot eat, or cook, or do anything super productive if they are too big and get in the way! So if you're looking for a bold sleeve without it being annoying, this is your top! I love that we've been having autumn-weather, so I can wear everything in my closet pretty much. I haven't brought out the bulky sweaters yet, but all the burnt orange, plum, cranberry, olive green, and navy blue colors are in FULL rotation right now.
This week looks jam-packed during all the weekdays, but thankfully we have another chill weekend with some fun plans to head to a cider mill! Tomorrow is Eric's birthday, and we're off to see a show. Wednesday, I have a fun collab to announce, so be sure to follow along on Instagram and stay tuned to stories! Thursday, I'm heading to the Lee & Birch Runway off Wealthy show... so excited! Unfortunately it's sold out, but they do have another fashion show coming up soon after in Grand Haven. So yeah, busy busy, but all good! I'm loving September, and I'm so excited to get into the end of the month and into OCTOBER! The trees here are already turning like crazy, so I feel like peak will definitely be sooner than normal this year. Need to make sure I'm ready! Alright... I'm off to watch the season finale of Bachelor in Paradise (total guilty pleasure) and eat a pint of Halo-Top (another guilty pleasure). Hope you guys have a great rest of your week!
