Spring 10x10 Challenge
For the next 10 days, I'll be participating in the spring 10x10 remix challenge put on by Style Bee and Unfancy! I've been wanting to try this for a while, so I'm excited to give it a go! I did a capsule wardrobe before, and I didn't love it. But this is an easy 10 days, 10 items, 10 outfits! It'll be a fun challenge to kickstart my spring wardrobe, and inspire me to get creative. The rules are... pick 10 pieces of clothing from your closet, including tops, bottoms, and shoes. Don't include accessories, outerwear, bags, PJs or gym clothes. Then for 10 days, create a new outfit each day, using your 10 items! Keep reading to see the 10 items I included... and links to everything! If you're also participating in the challenge, good luck!
For my ten items, I went with some old favorites… and some new pieces I was excited to bust out! For my color scheme, I knew I wanted to incorporate lots of denim and neutrals, but wanted to have a little fun with some color! So I went for a warm color scheme, with my marigold sweater and blossoms print dress from Madewell. Also — I just got these Levi wedgie jeans from Zappos and they are my new favorite pair of jeans. I also wasn't sure if I should include my jean jacket on this list... but since I typically wear it more as a "sweater" or "cardigan" than I do a winter jacket, I'm including it. My outfits are planned already and I was easily able to come up with 10 outfits using it... so I'm keeping it, but not sure if it "technically" counts as outerwear. Also, I took a risk choosing a skirt in this list, because it's been so cold here lately, so I'll definitely be rocking some tights in this challenge. But I'm excited for unlimited accessories!
