Weekday casual
Almost Friday! This week flew, which is great, because I'm all about starting a new month. Especially one that is fully spring! I just love starting a new month of budgeting, a new month of goals, a new month of plans and fun. It's such an exciting time of year, and there are so many good things happening. I'm just really pumped for this season. To start seeing flowers bloom. To listen to thunderstorms. I'm thrilled for it all! What are you looking forward to most this season?
Tomorrow I'm starting the spring 10x10 challenge! I need to take photos of my pieces, so I'm a little behind, but I'm going to do a little intro post tomorrow and probably blog my first outfit tomorrow or Saturday! I'm really going to try and attempt to snap photos for each of the 10 outfits, but might have to rely on a few iPhone shots here and there. I'll do a recap at the end! I have everything planned out using the Stylebook app, so yeah, it'll be fun! I sort of messed up, and planned two short sleeve tops and realized... it's still 40 degrees here in Michigan, so I decided to switch out one of the tops with the top I'm wearing in this post... so you'll get to see this top at least 3 more times in the next week. Whoops!
I've also been trying to switch up my makeup routine a little bit. For years (and years, and years, and years) I've only worn the same makeup, or at least the same routine. I've always worn liquid liner, but they stopped carrying my favorite brand, so I tried a new one... and it's awful and leaves streaks on my upper eyelid. So I have yet to find another liquid liner that I love (if you have any recommendations, let me know!) but in the meantime I've just been dusting my eyes with some taupe eyeshadow, and I've been loving it! Especially with a blush nude lip. But it's also just a little weird seeing yourself in photos, after you've had the same makeup routine for as long as you've been blogging!
Mmk... off again! I've been really into American Idol this season, so that's the highlight of my life right now. LOL. But honestly, it makes me laugh (to the point of tears). I was dying laughing from this scene with Luke Bryan laughing. Eric yelled at me from the living room to stop laughing because that show isn't that funny. Hahaha, but I couldn't stop. So funny. And I also just can relate to this scene so much; it had me cracking up. All three of the judges crack me up honestly, and they're so funny together! But yeah, this season is good so far, and there is no shame in my American Idol game. Happy weekend! xo
