510 Bridge
After three autumns in a row at this spot, it’s now totally a tradition. I wouldn’t miss this spot in early October for the world. It’s just… magic. It’s truly magic. And it’s so close to Marquette, about a 15 minute drive, in Negaunee, and the fall colors will just take your breath away. So if you head toward the bridge, there’s a small parking lot you can park in, and then walk to the top of the new bridge… for an insane view in both west and east directions. And then you can drive your car down to the old bridge, park, and walk across it. That’s where I get my outfit photos, but the higher view photos are taken from the new bridge. Anyway, this is a spot you can’t miss in autumn if you’re visiting Marquette. 🍂
So yeah, now is the time that I’m cranking through autumn content! I’m trying to get all the photos possible while the fall colors are here. But yeah, we’re pretty much in peak right now. I just absolutely adore this magical season, and wish it lasted another month. It’s so fleeting. Why don’t the best things in life last longer? You know? YOU KNOW?! Anyway. I bought this coat from Madewell last year, and it’s definitely still an absolute favorite. All the plaid everything this week! We just celebrated Plaidurday last Friday and it was such a fun and whirlwind day. I absolutely love being part of the community here in Marquette.
Well… this week is another whirlwind week! My friend, Kate, is visiting from downstate, so it’s been lovely to have her here. We’re going to head to the Porcupine Mountains for a day trip, so I’ll have some fun autumn content coming from that. And then… this weekend kicks off Fresh Coast Film Festival! If you’re local in Marquette, you should come! Thursday night is free and there will be film showings, food trucks, beer and fun. I’m really excited for it. I’m hoping to hit up a few more film blocks throughout the weekend, and then a fun band is coming to ODBC on Friday night. It’s going to be busy, but I’m looking forward to it! Alright… I’ll be back!
