Aaaaaaaah! We’re onto autumn! I’m so excited!! I’m a tad late (since other bloggers have been posting pictures in pumpkin patches since August 😂) but dang do I love this season and I’m HERE for it! Sorry I’ve been a little MIA though! Life has been so busy. I know I say that a lot, so I really just need to come to terms with it more, because there’s nothing about our life that I’d change. I love my career. I love my blog. I love that Eric is a musician and our weekends are full of shows and travels and friends. But that just means maybe I’m a slacker here once in a while, but that’s okay. I’m here now… and we’re kicking off the best month ever right here, right now!
Since the temperatures have cooled way down, it’s been the perfect weather to bust out all of my beloved cardigans and burnt-orange-everything. I switched my closet over, and it feels great to have a little refresh! Over the summer though, I got rid of so much… and now that I busted everything out of my off-season storage, my closet is too full again. So I’m going to be listing more things on Poshmark soon, so be sure to follow me over there! I honestly really like having a more paired down wardrobe. It’s easier to get dressed in the mornings, I love everything in my closet, and I save so much money on clothes now… because I only buy what I absolutely LOVE and could really use.
On this day, I was having anxiety over not having any outfit photos since Phoenix, so Eric and I took a little drive north… and it ended up being one of my favorite nights! Golden hour is so pretty this time of year, and this was a weird day where it was 80º, but the night felt so amazing! I loved it. After we snapped some photos, we got dinner at Russ’ Restaurant (lol) and if you’re not familiar with that restaurant, it caters to the 90-year-olds in town. I ordered a hot turkey sandwich with mashed taters, Eric got a chicken pot pie and we split an apple dumpling and a cream puff. Ah, who are we kidding, I’m pretty much an elderly woman at heart. 😂👵🏻
