Pentwater, MI

I know I'm a broken record, but it was amazing outside today. Seriously. I woke up, instantly went out to the outdoor patio and opened the door to step out into the most wonderful weather of all time. 70 degrees, sunshine, warm breeze and perfection. Honestly, my favorite weather. Brett and I decided that we must do something to celebrate it. I swear we'd be so broke if it was this kind of weather constantly. So, we decided to drive up about an hour north to Pentwater, Michigan. Brett and I started a tradition in the summer of taking one day trip each month, usually right in state. Pentwater is definitely a summer town, as are most of the towns right on Lake Michigan. So a lot of the boutiques and shops were closed, but we just took a walk on the boardwalk and down to their little pier. We walked out on the rocks on the water. The weather seriously could not have been better!

Today was my off fashion day. This is my typical everyday style. I walked out of the bedroom today and Brett was like, "Now that is an outfit I can get behind." Hehe ;) He usually gives me crazy looks when he sees my fashion concoction when I walk out of the bedroom each day. Isn't he adorable? I just love him to death. My little personal photographer ;)

After dinner, we drove back into town. Did a little bit of shopping and Brett treated me to Olive Garden as a "promotion" celebratory dinner. I'll update more about this later when the news is announced! ;)
